Who we are

Barkhausen Labs is a brand of RedBrick Software, Inc. (“we”). The plugins and registration codes come from us. Write to us at hello@barkhausenlabs.com.

Who sells

Purchases are sold by Link, Stripe’s checkout, on our behalf, through Stripe Managed Payments. Link is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT, and sends the receipt, and its own terms of sale cover the payment. On your card statement the charge appears as LINK.COM* REDBRICK SOF… (Link’s name, then ours, shortened).

The plugins

Each plugin is a CLAP plugin for macOS 11 or later, delivered as a signed installer. The download is free and is the full plugin, with every feature. Until a plugin is registered it shows a reminder, at most once a week. There is no copy protection, no account and no online activation: the plugins never contact us or anyone else.

Registration codes

• A plugin code registers one plugin. The bundle code registers every plugin in the bundle.
• A code is made for one person and carries their name. That person may use it on every computer they own, for personal and commercial work alike, and it keeps working for every future version of the plugin.
• A code is checked on your own computer. Please keep it to yourself: do not share it or publish it.
• If you lose a code, we send every code held under your email address again, whenever you ask.

The bundle

The bundle covers every plugin we launch with and most plugins we release later. A plugin may be left out if it is a collaboration, made and sold together with another developer, or if it is so different from the line that it is a product of its own. Whether a plugin is in the bundle is fixed when it is released and never changes afterwards.

Upgrading to the bundle

The list price of each plugin you bought on its own is taken off the bundle’s price. A purchase that was refunded does not count.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars, excluding tax. Checkout may show them in your own currency.

Refunds

If you change your mind within 30 days of buying, we refund it, no questions asked. The refund policy has the details.

The software is provided as is

Try a plugin before you buy it: the free download is the same plugin. The plugins are provided as they are, without any warranty beyond what the law requires.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. That does not take away any protection the law where you live gives you.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change never takes away a code you already have.
